Add and verify a complete domain
Add your domain
Acumbamail offers the option to verify a complete domain, that is, you can authenticate that you are the owner of the domain @example.com so that you can send campaigns with the sender you want without having to authenticate emails individually: carlos@example.com, miguel@example.com, etc.
To do this, on the main Home page you must locate Add domains , which you will find in the Shortcuts section, at the bottom left or from within the top Account menu.
After clicking you will be taken to the Account/Domains page. In the space reserved for entering text, enter the name of your domain and click the Add button.
Verify your domain
Next to your domain name, click Verify Domain .
You have 4 options to verify your domain, being able to choose any of the following :
Click on a link we sent to your email
Selecting this option will display a list of common email addresses. If you do not have any of the suggested ones, you must create one from your provider that has the same name as one of the suggested ones. This way we can make sure that you really are the owner of the domain.
After selecting one of them, click on Send email . We will send an email to the chosen email address that you must open and click on the link it contains.
Upload a file to your server
Another verification option available is to create a file and upload it to your server. You must create a file with the name and content that we provide when you deploy this option. Then you must upload the created file to the indicated path and click on Verify.
Add a meta tag
You can also add a tag to the header of your website's main page by editing the HTML of this page and adding the text we provide just before the section.
Then click on verify.
Create a DNS record
You can add a TXT record in your domain's DNS settings with the content we provide and click Verify.
Congratulations, you have now verified your domain. If you would like to add DKIM/SPF settings later to further improve your deliverability rate, we recommend reading the article Setting up DKIM and SPF for your emails .
